Testing a New Lifetime Coating From Opti-Coat
Testing a New Lifetime Coating From Opti-Coat
St. Louis' best coating installer just got an upgrade -- A new LIFETIME warranty ceramic coating from Optimum Polymer Technologies
The team at A&G Auto Spa has been using Optimum Polymer Technologies Ceramic Coatings since 2013. As the first installer in the St. Louis area we got exclusive access to their newest Opti-Coat offering -- Opti-Coat Pro3.
This is the first time
Opti-Coat has released a warranty for the lifetime of a vehicle and the first time they will require yearly maintenance. I wanted to go over how the coating looks compared to their other professional offerings as well as cover how this warranty different from their other ceramic coatings.
How a ceramic coating changes the appearance of your vehicle
Opti-Coat has always stood out from the crowd when compared to other coatings due to its unique chemical composition. Unlike most coatings that are made using silicon dioxide (SiO2) all of Optimum's pro coatings use silicon carbide. Because of thus difference, Pro3 is the most advanced paint coating on the market. Due to it's four layer application process, Opti-Coat Pro3 adds significant depth and gloss, making your car look dripping wet and making the paint color pop when viewed outdoors!

How does a lifetime warranty differ than the other Opti-Coat Warranties?
The biggest difference between Pro3 when compared to Opti-Coat Pro and Pro+ is the REQUIRED yearly maintenance. Just like other brands of ceramic coatings, Pro3 will require the vehicle to be touched on a yearly basis by a certified Opti-Coat Installer. This allows your vehicle to be routinely checked on by a car detailing professional so that the coating can be maintained properly to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Just like preventative and regular maintenance on your vehicles engine, Ceramic Coatings require proper maintenance to last their stated longevity.

How do we like Opti-Coat Pro3?
It has only been a few days since we've applied the coating but so far its exceeding our expectations. We applied it to half of our shop Dodge Durango that sits outside most of the week so that we can monitor the gloss, depth and hydrophobic properties over time. This is the first coating from Optimum Polymer Technologies that we have seen that adds significant richness and depth to the paint on your vehicle.
How much will Opti-Coat Pro3 Ceramic Coating Cost?
Opti-Coat Pro3 will be available soon for a starting price around $3000. This pricing will include a 2 Step Paint Correction and coating application to all of the paint, trim, glass and wheel faces. The yearly maintenance appointments will retail around $350 for most vehicles and will include a coating decontamination wash and a full interior detail to ensure your vehicle looks its best for a lifetime!
